MIRACLES ARE BORN EVERYDAY

 FOUNDER

Alena Smith is the founder of Trust Your Strength. She was inspired to create the organization after giving birth to her two premature sons, Wendell and Charlie an experience that took their family through the NICU journey twice.

As a NICU mom herself, Alena knows firsthand the incredible strength it takes to care for your baby in such fragile circumstances. She understands the emotional toll, the uncertainty, and the deep need for support that every parent feels during this journey and beyond, while raising a medically fragile child.

Through Trust Your Strength, Alena’s mission is to remind other parents and their Miracles that their courage is extraordinary and that they never have to be strong alone.

Trust Your Strength is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to creating awareness of the mental support needed for parents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and making a difference for families in need. Our vision is to encourage and strengthen parents of Miracles born prematurely and of medically fragile children. We provide self-care packages, financial assistance, and support, while working to strengthen parents through self-care events.

Donate with PayPal

Every day, families with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit face challenges they never imagined. Your donation provides comfort, support, and vital resources when they need it most. Together, we can ease their burden, one family at a time.
